ILeMOUVANTE, ATELIERS INTERNATIONAUX D’ARTS CONTEMPORAINS,
is a "site specific" festival with professional interdiciplinary artists from across Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia and the US, taking place each summer in one of France'S most beautiful village. Over the period oft two weeks invited participants collabaorate in different "ateliers" (workshops) - in theater, music, dance, singing, painting and film/new media - on a common theme relevant to the live and culture of the village. Results are presented to a varied audience in a final performance at the end of the process, showing excerpts from works created.
In the year 2006, the chosen theme of ILeMOUVANTE is "Changing Times" - meaning an in-depth artistic exploration of the rapid changes Corsica has witnessed in the past 40 years, promising a multitude of excitring dialogues: between artists and inhabitants, between different cultures meeting each other …
